Chris Chilvers, Founder/CEO, is a graduate of Hunter College and majored in Medical Technology.
After working at Sloan Kettering's and Rockefeller Foundation's research labs, he opened his own mass cholesterol testing center in Manhattan and called it the Center for Lipid Observation & Testing. The Center did the earliest cholesterol testing from a mobile unit in New York City.
During this period, Chris purchased a boat, got lost at sea and, following his rescue, developed The Loran-Card and later The GPS-Card navigation computer. This was an overwhelming success for 15 years and he retired in 2002.
In 2006 Chris noticed how difficult it was to surf the web on all these new mobile smartphones and applied his GPS-Card technology and experience to make search and surfing a pleasure rather than a chore on these small devices.
Chris resides both at his home and on his yacht in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. (cont.) |
